hi there Emil, sorry I didn't notice your friend request earlier.. I've only logged in a few times since making the account and have been postponing the inevitable... actually using it..
about the guests, at the lowest point (earlier this year, late last year or so) there were about 5 - 10 guests online on average, except when the site had been down for extended periods due to my neglect.. now, some of these I assume are bots trying to register and spam.. but when I look at the browsing activity I can see that people are actually reading posts they've written or read before without logging in.. password recovery module has been working so I don't think our old members have been locked out until now, but since the registration module was fixed, I'm seeing some people registering.. a good sign.. but it seems our new members are not yet in the habit of logging in and leaving a PTN tab open.. (I haven't been doing it myself these days either, I'll be "on" 24/7 hereon)
so now the question on my mind is how to encourage new and old members to stay logged in and write habitually as in the old days.. other than getting them hooked on PT2 that is..
